Nutritious, delicious and raw. All of our honey is chemical-free and strained, but unfiltered. It's made by our bees right here in Olympia, WA, and never mixed with honey from outside of our apiaries.

How to Store Your Honey

You can store your honey in your kitchen cupboard!  All raw honey crystallizes, some people love their honey liquid. Some people love their honey crystallized. Some people like it somewhere in between!  If your honey does crystallize and you prefer it to be liquid, gently warm it up through a water bath.  Bring water to light simmer (not boiling), add the jar to the water (not above the lid), and take the water off the stove.  Allow the water to cool and the honey to de-crystalize in the hot water.  Depending on how crystallized your honey is, it may take longer or more than once to return completely to liquid.  Do not overheat your honey or you will damage beneficial enzymes.

For reasons we do not fully understand, some infants get botulism when the spores get into their digestive tracts, grow, and produce the toxin. Honey can contain the bacteria that causes infant botulism, so do not feed honey to children younger than 12 months. Honey is safe for people 1 year of age and older.
