Doug is a Master Beekeeper who continues to study and research the western honeybee (apis mellifera), and thoroughly enjoys teaching people of all ages about the importance of honeybees and all pollinators particularly for our food supply chain. He is an engaging presenter with lots of fascinating information and educational materials for all ages, as well as an observation hive with live bees (visible through a glass barrier). He has taught lessons in numerous schools, fairs, and other community events. Please reach out if you're interested in having Doug teach a lesson in your educational setting.
